Spinoff to hospital bag
I haven't started packing my bag yet since it's still early for me, but being that I had a scare last week and my first came 8 weeks early, I ended up getting a couple of things ready in case it's go time ahead of schedule... this way DH knows what to grab.
I put the baby's take home outfit, headbands, little sister onesie and mittens in a large ziplock bag and marked it "HOSPITAL".
I also bought a light button up robe that I'd like to change into at the hospital and put that, along with a baby blankie together with the zip lock.
This way DH doesn't have to go digging through the baby stuff for what I'd like to have at the hospital. All the other stuff (camera, chargers, toiletries, etc) he can always just get himself since I still have to use them between now and whenever baby comes.
Thought this might come in handy to someone else!

Re: Spinoff to hospital bag
Good tips. Thanks! I also have my bag pretty much ready to go (started packing it a few weeks ago around 28/29 weeks). Since DD was so early as well, I had nothing with me when I got to the hospital so I wanted to be sure to be ready this time

Yep! I packed all things for the baby in the diaper bag. Then, when DH comes to get me and baby to bring us home, he brings the diaper bag with the going home outfit in it - and I have the bag to fill with all the hospital goodies we will take home as well.
