Honey
I had no idea honey wasn't pasteurized...I have been eating organic honey on my Fage Total with dried fruit for months...is this a big deal?
What other foods aren't pasteurized that you wouldn't think about?? My SIL said apple cider also..what about fresh OJ - is that a problem?

ohhh no I didn't even think of that ~ I have had a terrible cold for the last month and have had hot water, lemon, honey (1 to 2 cups a day (on and off) with 1 tsp in each cup....

I knew and I still had some at the beginning of the year when I was sick like a dog and couldn't take ANYTHING for it. A spoon of straight honey once a day for a few days kept me more comfortable.
I think the problem comes from using it too frequently, not from the ocassional use.
