Can you tell me about going for a 3D/4D Sono?

I didn't have one with my other 2 kids, and frankly the pics i see freak me out a little, but i'm considering it since this will be my last chance.

Where would I go (close to merrick/bellmore/wantagh area)

How much is it and for how long?

When is the best time in your pregnancy to have it done?

I went to this place in East Meadow when I was preggo with my daughter.

They have a few different levels of pricing. I think we had gone with the gold package. It was just DH and I, but there was plenty of room to bring other people. I think we were there for 30-45 minutes. We got a CD with a vide of the baby moving and a few sono pictures as well.

I believe I went when I was 30+ weeks.
