On your 2011 taxes on your NYS return, if the company you purchase oil from uses biodiesel fuel you can get a credit. If they did they will probably send you a transaction report & then you fill out the form IT-241.

I use Rocky Marciano Metro Fuel Corp & they switched to using this type of fuel in 2011 so I got a $40 extra refund for it. They just started using the biodiesel, but if your oil company was using it all year you could get a hundred + extra back... I know it's not a lot but hey, with the price of the oil it's nice to get a little back. Ask your accountant about it. If I’m your accountant, I’ll ask you Chat Icon or you can read here:

If you want to use Rocky Marciano bec you want to reduce your carbon footprint & use clean oil & all that 631.467.6646. I just used them bec they were reliable & good price, but now I did stick with them bec I like that they’re using the ‘cleaner’ oil.
