need help right away......

I know we are taking a risk with this short sale. But is there any committee or Someone that overseas. Whether a realtor is doing things legally. Some pretty shady things are going on within office we are using that is not right.

call your attorney for sure but since its the Real Estate end of things, call the broker or manager of your RE agent ASAP.

If you need anything let me know, I am the office administrator of a Real Estate office and also licensed (although I dont actively sell) so I see things from all angles and what can go on.

eta: to answer your specific question, the NY Department of State is the licensing bureau for RE agents so yes, they govern codes of ethics, rules, etc.

Thanks. The problem is the other agent is in the same office as our real estate agent. Just found out the other bid is being put in on a short sale. They were going to put our bid in because it was for more $$$$. The agent told the other people what we were doing and what is in our contract. Now just found out the other bid or contract is going in after being told only ours was going in. Also foundout that it is a divorce situation on the selling house. The ex wife is friends with their realtor. We think she knows the other potential buyer and is giving us grief for asking for an inpespection on the house. This other realtor is a beotch. I know she is playing games with us and. Must know the other people and want them to get in. We are thebetter offer. But who knows now. She may have told them what we are now putting down. We are going to our attorney and the realtor first thing tomorrow.
