Disney folks (and non-Disney folks) a suggestion
I know there's been a lot of discussion about there being a lot of Disney-related threads, and then maybe TPTB will even put it in a sticky if it works.
How about we try to limit the number of threads by keeping ongoing dicussions in one location/topic specific thread. This way people can learn from each others' questions and it would make it easier for people to find what they need.
What I mean is, we'll start a thread
Disney - Resort Hotels
Disney - Parks and Touring
Disney- Restaurants
Disney - Cruise Line
And everyone with a question can post it to the master "official" thread. So there wouldn't be ight now the 3 threads we have, one on Caribbean Beach, one for All Star Movies, and one for Monorail hotels, they would all go on the "Disney - Resort Hotels" thread.
Similarly, we can have consolidated threads on other topics like
Las Vegas - Hotels
Las Vegas - Activities
Couples Getaways
Non-Disney Cruising
There will still probably be more Disney threads than any other single entity, but it would consolidate them to clean up the board and to make it easier for people to get help from past questions.
We can't control people who are new to the board, but those of us who post a lot could direct them to the longer "official" threads to try to keep it orderly.
How does this sound?

i think the questions and answers will get lost in the thread - this board isn't as popular as the fhf board so its pretty easy to see threads when they are new

I think it's fine the way it is. General threads for popular vacation destinations will quickly become long and people will stop reading through them for information and start new threads anyway.
eta...there's a 10 page thread on FHF about people posting in the right forums. Can you imagine directing people to particular threads??

OK, it was just a thought!
I think we'd end up with a lot of Disney thread anyway. It is, after all, the most popular vacation destination in the world. Crazy, right?
