furniture for home-office
DH wants to get new furniture for his home-office - he wants a nice L-shaped desk to go in the corner, and probably a matching bookshelf.
Any ideas? Should we try a regular furniture store like Raymour & Flanigan? Not sure if they carry much office furniture - i've never really noticed before.
We didn't see anything on the Staples website we really liked...

I think there is a office furniture store or two on 110.

When we were looking for a new desk we drove up and down 110 and found quite a few stores that sold desks. We ended up getting our first desk at Staple's. The next desk we got was online at Walmart.com.

We got our desk at Gothic Cabinet, and I remember they had a big selection of bookshelves, too. But that was when we were living in the city - - I am not sure about the selection the Gothic Cabinet stores out here carry.
We got a few good deals there by buying the floor samples. And the furniture was well made - it's held up really well over the years.

Thanks - we ended up ordering from Raymour & Flanigan. We love the office set we ordered - i just hope everything goes smoothly with delivery/quality - i've heard mixed reviews about them. Fingers crossed!
