Laser Hair Removal - RAVE!

In September 2011, I decided to take the plunge and go hairless...I decided at 31 y/o that I just cannot handle shaving anymore!

I was hauling arse up to Mt. Kisco to go to a treatment center that a few friends and family members went to. I started w/my lip and underarms. I was sold by the second session since my hair was about 80% gone at this point (I went to three appointments 6 weeks apart.) She charges by the "body party" - so the lip was $150 & underarm was $150 (so $300 covers 2 sessions.) If you need 8 sessions, figure this would be $900 for both.

I was then referred to another center in Queens, and figured I could save the gas/time, and try this place out and take it from there. It's a "school" (learning center) and I made sure to do my due diligence about the center and the staff, all checked out well.

In December, I went to my first appointment w/them, did my lip/underarms/legs (Full) - $150! It's $150 per session, and I'm 90% done, and only have 1-2 sessions left and I will be hair-free. I wish I'd known about this place since the beginning and would've saved money! Figure 8 sessions at this place (even though it turned out that I'll need 2 more sessions.)

Next up, bikini and possibly my arms (on the fence about this one.)

So, if you're looking to get rid of your hair...I highly recommend going to the Berkowits School on Metropolitan Avenue in Queens. Once a month (for a week) from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., on a first-come-first-serve basis, under instruction by the senior staff member, students will laser your hair way for LIFE!
