Update: Has anyone had this happen?
TMI but I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom, just pee lol, and when I wiped it wasn't yellow or clear it was the faintest shade of brown. Like when you are about to get your period or the last day of it, it's soooo light brown you can hardly tell. This hasn't happened my whole pregnancy and now I am cramping. I am 34 weeks.
UPDATE: Okay, so around 1pm, I went to take a shower and totally TMI but in my underwear was a brownish discharge. Last time it was like light brown pee but this time it was thicker. Then I went to the bathroom at 7pm today and there was light brown tinged mucous so I am pretty sure that I am losing my mucous plug.
So I have some questions for BTDT moms even though I am one lol. With DS, I didn't lost my mucous plug, have contractions, etc etc. I was induced with no progress so this is all new to me. What does losing the mucous plug mean, that things are moving along? This doesn't mean I'm going to go this week or something does it?

Yes, happened last week (when I was 35wks)...not sure what it was but the midwife said not to worry about it when I asked her....

It sounds like you are beginning to lose your mucus plug. Call the doctor to ease your mind! I lost mine pretty early and gave birth to DS at 37 weeks.

I had a little bit yesterday and had my regular appt today and spoke to the Dr about it.
I would call your Dr and see what they say.

This may be a silly question (and I apologize if it is), but have you been drinking enough water? TMI, but when I'm dehydrated or haven't had enough my pee is so dark that it looks brownish. I believe needing water also causes cramping...

But it wasn't slimey or a glob or anything. So say you peed and then wiped and most of the paper would be wet with yellow or clear liquid, this was wet with a light light brown liquid...no globs, no stringy things, no spots, just the liquid on the paper was light brown.
Could this still be the mucous plug?

When I'm dehydrated my pee has a weird dark tinge too.
