I don't know if I should listen to my RE or my OB!

11 weeks ago my uterus ruptured during a mc. It was so traumatic that ttc was the furthest thing from my mind. Originally, I was going to wait until June.

I'm starting to get the itch again! The OB's in my practice said I should wait 6-8 mo to heal, but my RE said it would only take 3. WWYD?

How could they have such different opinions?

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I would be inclined to listen t the RE because they seem to be knowledgeable on those specific issues. You could always take the middle road and wait 4-5 months instead.

For the same reason that some OBs say to wait 3 months and some say you dont need to. Its all about their personal opinion. Id have a hysteroscopy done just to make sure your uterus is ok.

My RE actually suggested an hsg to check my tube before I start again. I originally planned to go in April/May and start again in June.

I went for a sono last week to check to see how my uterus is healing and see if there are any emerging issues, and the tech said I just ovulated!! I'm on the pill I kept saying to DH, "can you believe I ovulated and it was wasted??"

I think if u were to ask another re and obgyn, youd get 2 more different answers. Do what youre comfortable with but id defer to the re because hes the one id be under treatment with. Gl!
