and the fun begins
MS is setting in. I was hoping to be the lucky 25% but no. Hit me like a truck. Trying to get down some oatmeal but not doing so well. Blegh!

Re: and the fun begins
Like an apple one hour, nuts the next? I'm starting out overweight already so I need to watch the weight gain. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Re: and the fun begins
I agree try to keep eating. I've been snacking all daylong and have only gained 3 lbs at 12 weeks. I'm not sure where it goes! I snack on nuts and raisins, fruit, granola bars, bagel flats, crackers, yogurt. It's like a Job to eat all day but it helps. Also eat right away in the morning!

I'm a pro when it comes to MS! As you know ihad it with Mimi and now worse with yes it's a girl! I can give you tips and ideas, but in all actuality there's nothing you can do, unless you are ok with taking zofran. It's hormones, my doc said a sick mommy equals a healthy baby lol. Ttyl

Re: and the fun begins
Ugh sorry. It hit me like a truck one day too but oddly I've been pretty good since except if I get too hungry.
Try not to let yourself get hungry, the dip in blood sugar often causes nausea.
For the weight gain concern try to keep it healthy but filling- for me I liked part-skim string cheese, hard boiled eggs, greek yogurt, apple slices and peanut butter. I tried not to drink gingerale bc frankly its soda and it's not "real" ginger anyway. My mom sent me "crystallized ginger" which look like candies but I haven't tried them yet.
A coworker gave me ginger tea to try but I hated it..
Salty foods work for some people, but maybe you can try baked potato chips instead of reg. Also I heard lemon/lemon candies help a lot of people.
Hopefully you figure out what works well for you!
