Positive opk 3 days after trigger shot?
I had an IUI on Friday and did the trigger shot Thurs night. I tested today with an opk to see if i ovulated and it showed a smiley. It has shown a smiley since Thursday even before I did the trigger. Has anyone experienced this before? Do you think I ovulated yet?? I'm confused.

if you did a trigger you shouldn't use OPKs since OPKs can detect both HCG and LH and the trigger is HCG. so its prob picking up the trigger. 99% of people ovulate within 36 hours of the trigger, so put down the sticks!!!

I was so confused. I wanted to make sure I ovulated so I was using opk's. Thanks...I will stop checking.

I did the same thing and learned that the HCG in the trigger shot will give off a positive OPK,
