Does/has anyone dyed their hair a natural looking shade of red?
I have naturally red hair. not very red. Not fire engine red. And as I get older it is less and less so. Now there are a handful of white hairs coming in. I have started using a color rinse/gloss at the salon (PM shines) to cover the gray but nothing matches or even looks remotely realistic. I do not want magenta hair which I feel like is what I get for the first two or three weeks. It isn't til it almost completely fades that I like it. We've tried Orange Reds, Brown reds. Doesn't matter. They're all too intense. Is there any such thing as a natural looking red? I don't really want to go gray but it's either that or walk around looking very artificial or punk? Help
