IS IT FRIDAY YET?!?!?!?
THATS THE DAY OF MY NT SCAN
HAVENT SEEN OUR LITTLE BEAN IN 3 WEEKS.
CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW MUCH ITS GROWN.
WHATS THE SCAN LIKE? IS IT THE SAME AS AN US?

I had mine on 1/17 and go for the 2nd part on the 16th. It was amazing.
I was called in to have my blood taken and was told no news was good news.
They then took a VERY detailed medical history of me.
When I went in the room, first the tech inserted the probe and my DH nearly passed out. HAHAHAH She was checking my ovaries.
Then she used the transducer on my stomach. The Babes was chilling on its belly so she started poking at it to flip over (they need to be on their back) so she could take the measurements. She had me get up walk around and jump up & down. Finally the babes flipped over.  It was beyond anything I have ever seen before, it was waving his/her hands and feet, kicking at the transducer that the Tech was pushing on my stomach. After about 1/2 and hour the Tech was done and the Dr came in to review everything.
Congrats you are going to LOVE it!!!!

It was my favorite us  U are going to be amazed how much bean looks like a little person! Such a huge difference from the last one

Its amazing!!!!!! You will be there for 30-45 minutes just looking at your LO! And you will be mesmerized the whole time!
They look at ever organ, body part everything! And they explain to you what you are looking at if your not sure. We literally seen her brain and 4 chambers of the heart... Its just unbelievable what you can see while the LO is in your belly!!!!!!
AND you get tons of pics!

Probably not that detailed at 12 weeks!
They measure the neck thickness and look for the nasal bone. You will see the baby with its arms and legs this time, compared to last!

The NT scan I think is like the best scan ever! They get such a great profile pic of the baby. You're going to love it!!
