Home inspectors South Shore Nassau County?
Did you use someone you really liked? (Or didn't like?) We have a few names and DH is slightly anal-retentive and wants to make sure we get a VERY thorough inspection (and we want it ASAP) so anyone you can recommend would be great! Thanks!

Tauscher Cronacher. They have been around forever. My parents used them when they bought their first house in the late 70s.

I just FM'd you. Some people suggest using an engineer instead of a home inspector because apparently they seem to be more thorough. I have no clue though lol.

I used HouseMasters. Was happy with them. OUr inspector was a little odd, but when I had concerns when I called after, they sent another guy to double-check, which was very comforting.

we used an engineer--pillar to post
no joke, i called about 7 different engineers, and not only was he reasonable, but he was a pleasure to talk to as well
The man's name was Bill Murphey

My dad is incredible with this stuff, and was there-even he said the guy was good (and my dad was drilling him)
