White heat stains on wood
I have an espresso dining room table and recently we've been pretty careless with putting hot things down on it. We have a few of those white heat circles that I would love to get out. I read about mayo but I think that is only for water stains. Does anyone have any remedies that they've tried to remove these things?
Thanks so much!

Heat marks can be tough to remove. Here's a method to try on lacquered wooden surfaces only: Mix a dab of non-gel toothpaste with baking soda to make a paste. Rub gently over the stain until the paste feels warm. Then wipe clean with a damp cloth. You may have to repeat this process several times to lift the mark. Follow up with furniture polish or oil.

Take a towel and place it on the heat circles. Get your iron ready on steam setting and apply it to the towel. Do this a couple of times. You will see when you lift up the towel the marks will be wet, don't worry. I goggled since I had the same issue. Good Luck! HTH

Great post....I HAVE to try this!
I'm to assume if it's on the steam setting, put water in the iron?
