To all you pregnant ladies out there with small children already....
I totally give you props! This is my first pregnancy and I dont know how I would do it if I already had small children to look after. Im constantly tired, my feet and back hurt, I dont feel like cooking and I just feel like crap most of the time. I couldnt imagine feeling this way while pregnant and at the same time looking after other children. So, to those of you who do it I applaud you

Re: To all you pregnant ladies out there with small children already....
I have a 6.5 year old and Monday-Friday, 6:20am-5pm, I babysit for a 3 year old...so I probably fall into this catagory.
But I have to say that somehow it works and somehow you manage to do it. Sometimes I wonder if I just don't notice my exhaustion and aches and pains sometimes just because I'm so busy caring for everyone else already that I don't have time to stop.
And my 6.5 year old is such a great helper. SHe is always willing to help me fold the laundry, windex the windows/mirrors...whatever little jobs I ask for her help with and so I am so lucky to have her!

I still don't know how I survived it.
That's why the next time around I am going to plan my pregnancy for when DS is in school full time! Dealing with one seems bearable but two

I used to think the same thing when I was pregnant with my first. Now at least the good thing is I have a distraction so I'm not focusing on EVERY symptom, twinge, flutter, etc. It makes the time go by so fast! I can't believe I'm 15 weeks already.

I have a 17 month old and I run a licensed daycare in my home with 10 kids under the age 5 from 6:30 am to 6:30 p.m. So exhaustion is all I know. I just keep saying I can't wait for maternity leave...it will be a total breeze to take care of just two kids.

This! I had no idea how people did it when I was preggo with DD but now...chasing after her and taking care of her is making this pregnancy FLY by! No time to stress over lack of symptoms like I did first time around. But I am having trouble getting off the floor after playing with her lately. I'm thinking of getting a bean bag chair!

Thanks!! It isn't easy, but it happens... even if it means DS goes to "bed" a 1/2 hr earlier than usual!

Re: To all you pregnant ladies out there with small children already....
I am struggling with this pg and my kids are 6.5 and 4 and are pretty much self sufficient but I am so tired and DH works long hours in the city. It is tough, sometimes I go to bed when they do at 8pm...LOL
