Cramping?
I've been told so many different things about what to be looking for with labor...
I'm having cramping right now, lower abdomen, feels like i have to go diarrhea LOL
TMI but I think im going to actually try to do that,
but could that be contractions? Some ppl tell me it feels like period cramps (which this does) but i've also been told it should start up higher in my abdomen/stomach (which its not)
so clearly I have no idea LOL
any ideas? what can I do to be able to tell?

Not sure about the cramping but the diarrhea I've heard is definitely a sign of upcoming labor. Let's go little baby!!

Mine started like AF cramps. So it would be a BH contraction with a AF cramp. Sometimes I felt it in my back and sometimes in my lower abdomen. The cramping didn't stop and started out every 10 minutes. Gradually they got stronger and closer together.

I didnt have any contractions til my water broke. When it did break I wasnt sure it was my water or I peed myself but it broke and I got my first contraction....it felt like I needed to poop really bad....was a contraction not needing to poop.
Contractions will come and go on a regular basis so I would track them.

hey sorry to leave u hanging...
i just had to poop lol (sorry TMI)
disappointing...I was hoping it was something starting...
thank you for the input though so I have some idea of what to compare the pains to if they happen again!

Omg! I just came on here to ask the same EXACT question!!! Poop and all!! I've been having menstrual type cramps all day. On and off. Nothing consistent or regular.  With one of the cramps I thought, let me try to poop. Low and behold, poop! Now they're dissapearing. So dissapointing

A lot of people don't make the connection of having to poop and impending labor. Our bodies naturally start to "clean itself out" before labor begins... so this is a good sign.

towards the end when i was pregnant with DS i would get really intense BH.. so strong that it would take the breathe out of me.. but it didnt hurt. sooo i was talking a lot of smack saying oh if this is what a contraction is like then i wont even need an epidural...i also thought i had a high threshold for pain. little did i know..when the first REAL contraction hit me at 1am i bolted out of bed screaming around the house..lol. i guess what im trying to say is that you'll know when you have your real first contraction. i did have loose stools prior to going into labor. good luck and wishing you easy labor vibes!
