the best time to visit CR is during their high season; however, we went during low season and it didnt rain too bad.
we stayed in san jose and manuel antonio. while in san jose, we visited the poas volcano and the la paz waterfalls. we stayed at the Poas Lodge, which is a quaint mountain lodge. We also stayed at another bed and breakfast, La Boruca.
in Manuel Antonio, we stayed at the Gaia. Excellent hotel, excellent customer service.
wish we had the chance to see arenal, but we were only there for four days.
Definitely go zip lining, so much fun!
