Thanks to those who recommended Lauters Furniture in PA!
After waiting 10.5 weeks (a delay because of the snow a week and a half ago) we got the furniture for DS' big boy room yesterday and it looks amazing!
We got the Stanley Young America My Haven Collection. We got a half a bunk in case our two DS' share a room one day we have the option of adding on another bed, we got a trundle for storage space and a small dresser.
We saw the furniture at Behr's and fell in love with the looks, the fact that it's real wood, made in the US, and they are on the "green" side but we didn't like the price but were going to pay it just to get quality pieces to last my boys. After researching on LIF, there were a few recommendations for Lauters in PA. Not only were the prices cheaper than Behr's but there was no tax and no shipping and they set up the furniture in the room, NO scratches or dings. It looks amazing. We are so happy!
Thanks again girls!

How did this work? Did you have to go to PA? or did you just figure out exactly what you wanted ahead of time and then did this online or by phone? We will be needing to buy big kid furniture soon and I remember walking out of Behr's b/c the baby stuff was so $$$$$$

Re: Thanks to those who recommended Lauters Furniture in PA!
I ordered around Thanksgiving over the phone. I went to Behr's to see what I liked, opened drawers, took measurements, etc, etc so I knew what I wanted. Then I called Lauter's and asked for a price then ordered over the phone. They quoted me around $70-$100 less for each piece so that alone was around a $300 savings but then add not having to pay for the tax and shipping and we saved SO much money. I responded to 2 posts regarding furniture and said to check out Lauters but 2 people FM'd me and told me that Lauter's is no longer doing quotes over the phone, that you have to drive the 2.5 hours there to get a quote and place your order. I thought that wasn't good but then DH who works in retail said that Behr's probably caught on and is price matching so Lauters didn't want that to happen. One of those ladies who FM'd me actually drove down to PA, the guys said sorry and gave her money for tolls and gas!!! She said she saved a ton over Behr's.

I did a search on here because I thought I remembered a post about someone buying Young America from Lauters.
That's crazy - I called them too and they said Stanley doesn't allow them to give quotes to NY customers!
I won't order from Behrs or anywhere that I feel I may be over charged. I think I'm not even going to get a YA set now.

Re: Thanks to those who recommended Lauters Furniture in PA!
Someone on here sent me an FM about this as well. DH told what probably is happening is that Behr's promises to price match so people are calling Lauter's to get a quote from them just to turn around and buy it at Behr's so Lauters is losing business. The person who sent me the FM said that she drove there and it's not too far away and they not only gave her a better quote than Behr's but reimbursed her for the gas. We actually just ordered a second dresser to match the set that we bought in the previous post and because we moved and my boys are now sharing a room so I needed a second chest. They gave me a quote over the phone no problem but maybe it was because I'm a returning customer. Can you tell me what you are looking to buy and I can call Lauter's and see if I can get the quote for you then I can FM it to you?

I would also look into the Flemington Department Store in Flemington, NJ for furniture.

I did the same thing but wound up ordering from Paradise Furniture on Bell Blvd in Bayside! Their prices blew Behrs away, and at the time, Lauters was more expensive! We are now looking at big girl furniture, and I will most likely order from him or Pottery Barn!
