Limo food for winery trip
This Saturday a few of my friends and I are taking a limo to the wineries for my birthday. It is leaving at 10:30am. I haven't been in a limo in the morning ever so I don't know if we should bring some snacks or what. What, if anything, would we bring? Lunch is included with the package we got.
TIA

I guess you can bring trail mix or granola bars or something. but that does seem early and what time will you be having lunch?

Re: Limo food for winery trip
I would pick up some bagels. One of my bridesmaid's brought a bag of bagels in the limo for after my bachelorette party - was the best idea ever.

Re: Limo food for winery trip
DH and I are going to Napa this summer, so in my research I've come across some helpful hints:
Eat a good breakast in the morning for sure, one that includes fat and protein. If you load up on carbs before you drink, you'll end up feeling crappy.
Make sure you drink plenty of water in between your stops. If you want to bring snacks, a cheese platter and some nuts would be a good choice.

I would def bring some bagels, donuts, croissants, etc.....especially if you are going to be drinking on your way out to the wineries.

Re: Limo food for winery trip
We always bring a picnic basket with cheeses, crackers, sliced fruit, a veggie platter with dip and some chocolates for later in the day and lots of water.

Re: Limo food for winery trip
Whenever I do this with friends I always order a platter of finger sandwiches from the deli.
Easy to eat, not messy at all.

Re: Limo food for winery trip
So instead of the finger sandwiches, maybe get a bunch of mini bagels? Have the bagel store slice them for you too.

Re: Limo food for winery trip
Are you using Elegant Limo? We did that a few weeks ago and it was great! Just grabbed a bagel in the morning, then had a nice lunch at one of the wineries. it included sandwiches and chips. Cheese & crackers, and a fruit platter. Pretty yummy! Then we hit Briemiere Farms on the way home for some cookies and pies. Great trip!

We did a tour with a small group of friends a few years ago and we did...sausage/cheese & cracker platter, fruit platter, fried ravioli, pretzels, chips.

Re: Limo food for winery trip
i did this for my bachelorette party and loved it! we used metro limo and they were fantastic!!!
i would suggest bagels based on the hour of the trip. we also made mimossas for the ride out. I also grabbed 2 - 3 bags of chips and on the trip home everyone was grateful to have a snack
