Welp..update on my derm visit
Went back for a check on things. Overall VERY HAPPY with the result. I had a very light treatment done originally and had to have an adjustment over the eyebrows. Seems I was getting scary eyebrow points. My own take is that I was scary eyebrow girl... I have very strong muscles there. So the doc did an adjustment.
Happy happy and people are not sure why I look good (or better) but they are saying it and I am feeling better about my looks.
I think that's all that matters.
Highly recommended. I went to Frank Demento and Assoc in garden City if anyone wants a rec. I saw Dr. Lilly Rose.

Re: Welp..update on my derm visit
I just explained that I wanted to look less worried, tired..but not be frozen and scary looking. I didn't want to look expressionless.

Re: Welp..update on my derm visit
and I was told I can get it done 2x a year. that should be ok for me. Also, switching up exactly where you get it helps symetry. (sp)

Re: Welp..update on my derm visit
It can but I doubt I would want it there.
Yeah, forehead, labella..mostly for above the eyes.
Doc charged per area. Forehead was an area.
Very pleased with the result.

Re: Welp..update on my derm visit
Question- did it hurt? The thought of the needles freak me out.
Also- does anyone know if it helps for those darn "marionette" lines from the nose down to the lips? Or if I'd need a filler for that? I HATE MINE!!!

The first time I did it they said "we can fix your crows fit" and stupid me said "you CAN????" and jumped right in...
Do not ever do the crows feet. I felt like it looked awful. When I do it (I'm due...it's been over a year) I only do the 11's and a little bit in the forehead.

It hurt but it was quick and no lasting pain. I mean really quick.
No, the marionette lines are fillers.
i'm ok with that for now, but I would do other things if I needed it.
I did it because it was something I wanted to do for me.

Re: Welp..update on my derm visit
that's the reason I did it. I saw a pic of myself and I looked stressed and mad.
Yeah, that was not happening.
It's subtle on me. I can still frown a little but the 11s are not there.
If you don't have deep 11s having it done can actually make the lines almost go away completely since you are not having the frowning repetition. That part I like a lot.
