i have a stomach bug! help

What did you guys do when you had a stomach virus? I feel absolutely horrible.... Ive been sleeping all day and when i wake up i throw up... My head is killing me...

Just had one last week. There is nothing you can do. Just make sure to get some fluids in yourself after you stop getting sick. My DH and I had it at the same time. Then three days later my DS got it. NOT FUN!

I had TERRIBLE viral infection over the holidays. I was vomitting and had diarrhea (sorry TMI) so bad that I ended up going to the hospital bc I was scared for the baby. I didnt know I had a viral infection at the time (the ER dr discharged me for dehydration, and pretty much told me I was a neurotic pregnant woman). But when I went to the my dr, she looked at my blood work and told me about the infection.

All you can really do is, as hard as it may be, drink plenty of fluid to keep you hydrated. If you get a fever, take regular tylenol. Mr dr said that when it gets to 101, thats when its important to call the dr.
