Question about swelling in legs?
I have never had swelling in my legs before during either of my pregnancies. I noticed this evening that my left leg feels swollen. It actually feels like the circulation is being cut off. It's only my left leg though I did notice my left hand was a little swollen. Could the baby be in a certain position causing this. Anyone experience this?

with my 1st DS i had RIDICULOUS swelling of the feet ankles and legs. My dr. just said that is the way my body was reacting. He said as long as my blood pressure was normal it was just a side effect of pregnancy for me
Now with this pregnancy of DS#2 I have had any swelling yet and I have 8 weeks to go. Last pregnancy at this time I was BADLY swelled.
I would just get your blood pressured checked.

I would just get your blood pressured checked.
I just went to OB on Wed and blood pressure was good. I actually always have low blood pressure. I have reading up on sciatica and I think that is what is causing it. I have lower back pain and i think it's pinching a nerve on my left side. Who knows!! I have my legs up and I'm feeling much better.

Please talk to your dr about it. I had normal blood pressure and pain and swelling in one leg and I thought it was just siatica and I ended up with blood clots in my leg.
It could be nothing but better to be safe

This..your dr needs to rule out a blood clot if its just one leg.

One leg swelling is usuallly noyt sciatica. Please double check for clots! Xo
