Re: belly lotion
I've been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion for Stretch Marks in the morning/during the day (I dont have any stretch marks yet but I am trying to prevent them from ever appearing!) & I use Motherlove Pregnant Belly Salve only at night bc it's greasy.

Re: belly lotion
I have picked up Bio Oil in both Costco and Target. Costco only had it 1 time though, but it was a great deal!

Re: belly lotion
I have stretch marks everywhere else but my belly (boobs, hips, inner thighs), and I SWEAR it's because I dry brushed my belly with a skin brush and I drank tons of water and oj every day.

I use this too. Last pregnancy I used Belli Elasticity belly oil. I haven't developed a stretch mark with either pregnancy. I honestly think that stretch marks have a lot to do with how quickly you get big, heredity and preexisting stretch marks.

Re: belly lotion
I've been using basque since my friend bought me a gift pack when I found out I was pregnant. I just bought a new tub this past weekend.
Not sure if it will help keep stretch marks away like it claims but I like how it makes my belly feel.

Re: belly lotion
I started using Palmers stretch mark formula the minute I found out I was pregnant. I wanted to try to prevent them as much as I could. I am now 26 weeks and about a month ago I switched to Bio Oil and I really like it. No reason for the change, just wanted to try it. Still no stretch marks (knock on wood).
One tip I got from a few friends was to use it all over, not just your belly. I had one friend say that she used lotion on her stomach and chest and she ended up getting stretch marks on her thighs. I had another friend say that she did just her stomach and she got them on her chest. With that advice I have been putting it on my stomach, back, butt, thighs and chest all the way up to my next. I go through a lot of oil but it will be worth it if I can prevent stretch marks.
