which is worse
In your opinion?
Lovenox or PIO?
Eta in general or in terms of pain, annoyance factor, side effects etc...

I don't take PIO but I have been on Lovenox since October and I don't have any issues with it. No bruising, a small bit of pain right when I inject it but it is gone in minutes.

Ditto. The lovenox needle is small the PIO needle is larger. Not much bruising at all from the lovenox.

I don't think either is "worse", they're just different.. and everyone reacts to these things differently.
I had a hard time adjusting to lovenox at first and I would get large grapefruit size bruises. The PIO gave me welts... Eventually I got better at doing the lovenox and PIO was MUCH better after I started using heat instead of ice. Ultimately like I said.. neither are worse- just different.
