New roof?
How long does it take to replace a roof? Our roof is getting replaced in March and I am wondering how long it usually takes. It is only the back part of the house...

We just had ours done- they do it in one day.

Ours took about 4 days. One day for all the roof and plywood to come up and replace all insulation with new plywood (on half the roof). Next day they did the other half.
Then 2 days to do shingles and metal trims.

We only had the back part done on our 1st house and it took a day. That included replacing the boards.

it depends on who you get. if you get a local handyman to do it, it will take a long time.
most companies that are actual roofers will get it done in a day, other large construction companies can do that as well.
the key is they get a lot of guys, they only do roofing and they have a system down.

That's what we had. I wasn't home during the entire project, but when I got home, there were several guys on the roof, and a few more on the ground cleaning up and sending supplies up to the roof.
