hunger in the middle of the night
Does anyone else experience this (or had experienced this)? I feel like I eat a lot throughout the day (probably more than I should be eating!) and yet in the middle of the night when I get up to use the bathroom, I find I am SO hungry that I can't fall back asleep. I just lay there until eventually the hunger subsides and I fall back asleep, but it still really annoying to deal with this night after night!

wow, you're good! I've had that happen to me a few times and I can NOT go back to sleep because my stomach would be growling.
I usually make myself a sandwich but thank goodness it's only happened a handful of times

I haven't experienced this, but my boss told me his wife would wake up in the middle of the night and eat full on meals every single night!

It happens to me. I wake up hungry so I have a a cracker before I get out of bed to take my middle of the night peepee

It happens to me too... Sometimes I have a bowl of cereal! LOL Or like you I try to make myself go back to sleep...

I keep either a package of crackers or a tub of nuts next to the bed, because sometimes i get so hungry it hurts and i cant fall back asleep either. so i eat 4 crackers or a handful of nuts, the feeling goes away long enough for me to sleep.

This has happened to me ~ Sometimes I just try to fall back asleep ~ last night I could not and then I was afraid I was going to get nauseas so I had some ritz crackers. (I really didn't want to eat anything but my stomach was growling)

I always kept a sleeve of crackers and a couple boxes of those organic mommy bars in my nightstand. I always woke up hungry during my middle of the night bathroom runs! My son is 8 weeks old now and it's worse than ever, I guess because of nursing. I don't remember that happening with my first son though! What I've been doing now is making up little ziploc baggies of pretzels, goldfish, Cheerios, stuff like that. I keep them next to the bed amd just grab a handful of something if I wake up hungry.
