Utilities - Town of Brookhaven/Suffolk
Not sure which companies I need to call in Town of Brookhaven/Suffolk County to get our utilities turned on for day of closing? We have gas, and of course electric, water, cable (Sadly, I know Fios isn't an option), am I missing anything?
Also how did you handle service contracts for things like swimming pools and appliances? Did you set them up after you moved in?

Gas - I think it's National Grid... not sure since we don't have gas in my area.
Electric - LIPA
Water - Suffolk County Water Authority
Sucks that Fios isn't available, right? I keep checking to see if it's available. Not sure why it's not. 
We didn't set up service contracts w/ anyone but oil.

In case this helps anyone else save a phone call, LIPA was able to take care of having both the electric and gas (National Grid) turned on.
