26 weeks
and still no discussion of my "maternity plan" with my boss.
we are a 3 person company - she doesn't HAVE to give me anything- but honestly- i've been here 4 years this November- so it woudl be sort of crappy if she didn't
I saved my vacation time this year- so at least I'll have that.
also- i'm due 11/22 and she thinks i'm going to the annual trade show 1/3
granted- she's never had kids- so no clue, right?

As far as the convention goes... I would say "I plan on leaving by X date and returning from my maternity leave by x date." This way, she knows you get "maternity leave" and then she will know you don't plan on being back to work until after the convention. Let her know you would love to go, but unfortunately, if you are on Disability, it makes you unavailable during your maternity leave time off.
Let her know YOUR intentions before she can expect things of you.
