Cleaning stainless steel pots?
The Farberwear pot set that I got almot 10 years ago is starting to tarnish and get yucky looking. What can I use to shine them up and back to the silver color they should be?

Have you tried barkeepers friend? You can get it at any grocery store.

Are they dishwasher safe? Mine are and I throw them in the dishwasher and they come out like new! For some reason they look better than when I handwash them.

I agree with this--its a miracle worker on everything.
You can also buy it at BBB with a coupon.

Try baking soda on a wet sponge.
I use it on my SS pots all the time, especially since I hand wash them.
