Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and AC
Dad is turning 80 next week. I want to plan a one nighter away to one of these destinations. We don't have a large budget but we will be going with mom and dad. Mom doesn't have a lot of stamina for walking so a place that can accommodate that too.
Are there any deals I can find online? Doesn't have to be a show or anything. Just a comfy room in a nice hotel with great restaurant choices. They like to play the slots, but don't have the budget to do it all day so a place with a few other things to do and see. They've been to AC and Las Vegas before and always stayed at the MGM.

Re: Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and AC
From the research I have done, Foxwoods is much bigger and spread out. So if you are looking for some place where you don't have to walk around a lot, not sure if that would really work.
We have been to MS many times. We love it there. We are acutally going there again next month. They have nice restaurants, shopping ( not a huge slection, but a few). Several choices to eat. Some high end, others not. There are three casinos to gamble. They even have 1/4 penny slots. But in the long run, if you max out the machine to get the highest payout, you play like 2-3 bucks a spin. But if you don't max it out, you could probably play all day!
In door pool and hot tub are great too. Haven't been to the Spa yet.
AC, we have stayed at the Trop. There is a lot more to do on the strip, but it could be cold out and I am a baby, don't like being cold
Have fun in whatever you do! If you have a players card for any of the casinos, foxwood, MS or any of the ones in AC, call them and see if you can a better rate. They usually will if you have a card.
HTH!
