Prednisone
What dosage are you taking and what are your side effects. Sandra said since my dosage is low i might not have any... but i wanted to see what others have just to keep an eye out.

I was on 20/day and had hair growth in unwanted places and my face got puffy... I also gained weight.  Sorry, I wish I could say I had no side effects.... Everyone is different though. I was also on it for a long time.

 michelin man! Puffy face,alittle roid rage, appetite of a hippo, ya know, the usual.
With a low dose, you might not experience any side effects. And regardless, the benefits outweigh prednisone face for 12 wks.

I agree.. this is what I always told myself too. If it gets you to GET and STAY pregnant, who cares what else it does!!?
I've found in the process I just had to 'let go' and look the other way... and just hope with every ounce of my being that those drugs would pay off eventually.
Personally, I found this to be the hardest part- just forcing myself to not care about what these drugs were doing to my body. Now that I'm no longer on the drugs, I find myself struggling with the 'after effects' and trying to get rid of any evidence of the weight I gained on this road.

I have been on 10mg since the beginning of the month and I havent noticed any side effects other then maybe a little increased hunger....nothing I cant deal with

Ang, for me, my heart was beating like a chicken, ravenous "fake" hunger all the time, and I talked fast like a cokehead  Also my face got round and puffy and I had random hairs growing out of my neck and chin. i was on a 80 mg taper, so it was 80 for the first 4 days, then 60, then 40.......
It was unrelated to pregnancy. So I am not telling you this to scare you,but to kinda let you know that some of these symptoms are normal... G/L!

I think it was 10 then 20 at O. I dint notice my face getting puffy. I was hungrier but maybe that was just because I just like food a lot.
