Batts or Blow-In?
Which one is better, and why? And, has anyone done their own for the entire house?

Note that this is for our attic, not for the walls. (If you happen to know about wall insulation also, please tell me about that. We got a quote for it, but it was far more expensive that attic insulation).

DH rolled out batts of insulation into our attic over the insulation that was already there. It only cost us around $500 to do our entire attic and DH rolled it out himself in a couple of hours.
