Enzo labs in farmingdale,if u used this one i have a odd question

So since we could not find one by us to use and thanks to the board dh and i took the trip to farmingdale so he can have another SA needed for us to start IVF

appt was at 1..we got there at 1245..signed in,filled out the paper work..and sat...nobody was there..1pm,110 comes 2 people come ion for blood work they get taken in..at this oint dh and i have to laugh bc every app we seem to wait

so thats my first question..do u always wait,even when nobody is there

ok here is the part we found odd and funny..when she finally comes out, she hands dh the cup says to write ur name etc etc...dh goesok where do i go she says the waiting room...we laugh and go excuse me..then she points to the bathroom in the waiting room..

if u have never been here let me describe it as it is literally in the waiting room..

is that where u guys went????

first i mean it is in the waiting room...if it was crowded how could a guy be able with the noise and maybe people trying to use the bathroom


second..it is a bathroom...i mean if i went for blood and had to use the bathroom after i do not want to know some guy just slapped the salami in here 5 min ago...what if he missed

OMG.
I believe it's ENZO's corporate offices that also have a lab smooshed in between doors full of cubicles!
I go here for my bloods. Luckily, DH has never had to do a SA here. Usually, I think you drop off the sample, maybe because you don't live close, they didn't suggest?

Yes, it is a bathroom in the waiting room. It's an everyday office bathroom, nothing special for patients. It's used by office staff too. I can't even imagine. So wierd.

They used to have the lady behind the window help you. Now the phlebotomist does everything from photo copying your ID card, paperwork to drawing your blood. She's very nice and I've gotten to know her over the years!

As far as time goes, I think they do go to lunch and "close" the lab.

i also wanted to add when he was done the nurse was with someone else so he is standing outside the bathroom holding his filled cup

i pretended i did not know him

OMG thats hysterical! Poor DH!

We live nearby so my DH brought his. But when he got there they said my office never put codes on the script for the SA and b/w. So he had to wait while I called the office for the SA code so it didnt go bad then I made them fax the b/w codes to them. So poor DH was standing there like a tool with his stuff in his pocket and also fearing b/w because he's a big chicken.
