How long does this take??

I will preface this by saying I've always been a late to ovulate person...........usually between CD22 and CD24 and that was with Clomid.

So today is CD9 and I know it's early but what should I be expecting by now in terms of my follies with being on the injectables? Should things be moving along quicker?

I am only on 1 Bravelle and 1 Menopur right now and this morning at my check-up I had "many less than 10" on both sides which is basically where I was last Friday on CD3. Of course I am freaking out that the meds aren't working, mind you the RE isn't freaking out, but I am.

I'm nervous for everything. 2010 was such a disappointment and I'm afraid things won't work out again this time. I have to have a water sono tomorrow, they want to check my tubes because they saw a little something on my sono today. Whatever it is they want to make sure it's not obstructing anything. I've had a small fibroid for years so it's probably that but I guess better to check everything now and avoid problems later.

Sorry for going on and on, I'm just stressed. I forgot how much I hate this process!

when you are on injectables everything about your regular unmedicated cycle is meaningless. you SHOULD move faster than that. in most cases you would stim around 5-12 days (depending on the protocol) for an IUI cycle. good luck!

Thanks. I wasn't sure how long they keep the injectables going, good to have some idea. I am hoping that this weekend we will start to see some actual follies developing. I want progress!!

My follicles grew sooo fast. I went two days after they 1st said a bunch of less than 10's and they were already at 11,12 and 13's. Then 2 days later at 14-16's .. so it moves very fast from my experience Good luck!
