Okay, dress me for a wedding, please!
The wedding is in March. DH is in it, I'm not. But I want to wear something that won't clash with him...this is the color the bridesmaids and groomsmen are wearing:
Don't know what the dress looks like, but it is to the floor.
The wedding is at 10am and the reception at 12:30. So it's early, but the bridal party will be formal. And I'll probably be in some of the pictures since I'm family.
I have no idea what to wear since it's the afternoon but I still want to look fancy. And picking the color is also stressing me out.
HELP!

Ugh that's a tough color to coordinate but not match. Part of me wants to say a red cocktail dress because red and aqua look so nice together.
Or ooh! What about gold or silver??

I like gold and silver. But what about the cut? Strapless, one shoulder, sheath? Cocktail, day to night? That part is stressing me out more than the color I think...

100% cocktail. As far as the cut, I don't think it really matters since you don't know what the BMs are wearing- whatever you like best. Personally, I can't stand 1 shoulder dresses on me so I'd probably be going with strapless since it seems pretty formal for a daytime wedding.
ETA: And I like navy, didn't think of it! Good eye!

I just saw a beautiful one shoulder navy dress in nordstrom..it was around $100. I may buy it myself for a wedding i have in june..navy would definitely compliment that color!!

I would go cocktail length probably, unless it is black tie.
I love navy & turquoise together, but black, gray, brown, gold, silver would also work.
As for style, whatever looks good on you. Don't narrow your options too much before you start looking.

I'd say something navy or plum.
