Furnitureland South will deliver furniture anywhere in the world..they are one of the biggest in high point, but they are also pricey...if you go to one of the smaller furniture places i would bring your own truck.
you could always call the smallers places and see if they deliver locally? you live in NC? My Dh and i just moved to high point

yup, we are in charlotte. my cousin and his girlfriend are moving to high point on Wednesday! so I want to see them, and maybe rent a truck for the day incase we see anything...I wonder how much local delivery is though.
congrats on your move!
DH isn't too far from you, he works in Kannapolis near the racetrack

i believe at furnitureland the local delivery is 75...but i would still go somewhere a little less pricey...our neighbors are bringing us to the place where they got their furniture tomorrow...(they have beautiful stuff) and they said this place has the best prices...when i get the name of the place i will let you know!

Good luck with shopping! We are going to be looking for new couches and dining room chairs in a few weeks so I will let you know where we go. Definitely post where you end up shopping. I am looking for good deals since we are in the furniture capital!

thanks! good luck to you! I am in search of a couch and really great dressers, DH wants dressers from restoration hardware, but I have to be able to find similiar quality in one of these places

my neighbor said rose is good but still a tad pricey...they are taking us to a furniture wholesaler...I will def post the info tomorrow for you ladies...def looking forward to great deals of great furniture!

We thought the prices at Furnitureland were great, but our neighbor said that we paid way too much for our couch...we mentioned that we were going to go to rose and a few other places and they said no way...they were going to take us to the place they got all their furniture...can't beat these prices...i believe them b/c they have lived here all their lives and plus the husband is an furniture upholsterer so i assume he knows where to find all the good deals! Can't wait to check this place out...my house needs to furnished!

Most do not have the furniture in stock and require it be delivered.
I would go there first and if they do have what you want in stock, rent a truck locally. Most rental places allow you to return at a local rental place whether it is in or out of state.
