3 kids and Disney
We booked a trip to Disney for March. I have 3 DD's (4 1/2, 3 and a baby who will be 9 months at the time). When we first booked my parents said they would probably come with us to help out. Now, if they do come it will only be for part of the week not the full week...and that's if they come at all.
I'm getting nervous that logistically DH and I won't be able to do it. Everyone says we need two strollers (a double for the older ones and a single for the baby). How are we supposed to push 2 strollers and hold DD's hands when they're not in it?? What about rides??? If a ride is a 2 seater who sits with one of my DD's??
Has anyone gone with 3 kids, one being a baby? If so, was it hard? Should I think about cancelling and going when they're a little older?

You can do the baby swap. You and 1 kid go first, then swap and DH and the other can go second and they go right to the front of the line, no waiting.

I haven't done 3 but I know people who have. They have a rider swap where one parent stays with the child who can't ride and the others ride then you switch and the rider who stayed behind can ride with the children without waiting in the regular line again.
I know friends have had their baby in a carrier to keep their hands free. What do you do when you go to someplace like the zoo for the day? A lot of the rides you can fit one adult and 2 kids - so one could take a child and hold the baby in your lap while the other parents takes the other child. Additionally if the baby is asleep one of you could take the other two on the ride. Even 2 seat rides with 2 small kids and one adult should fit okay.
I would think it might be a bit easier while the baby isn't mobile so you can use a carrier and only chase 2 at once.

Re: 3 kids and Disney
I have 3 kids and the first time we went my son was 2 and my daughters were 4 and 6 but I believe we had 1 single (brought) and 1 double stroller (rented) and the 2 older ones would sit in the double - the 6 yr old less.
We did baby swap a lot and I don't remember doing any ride together as a family except maybe 'Its a Small World".
I saw alot of babies in slings or bjorn's but I know personally I couldn't do it all day with my back and was grateful for the strollers (even for storing jackets and snacks/drinks)

Re: 3 kids and Disney
That will be tough.
One thing to remember is you can always park the stroller and leave it there for awhile until you need it again, so you can try alternating, pushing older kids in stroller, carrying the baby and older kids walking, baby in stroller.
A lot of rides will hold 3 people, especially if 1 or 2 of them are small. You'll probably end up doing baby swap a lot, where, you ride with the 2 older kids and DH watches the baby, then DH rides with the 2 older ones and you watch the baby. Cool bc the kids get to ride twice.
A lot of rides that hold 2 will allow you to see /touch your kids if they are in front of you. So on splash, if you're riding with your kids, they can sit directly in front of you, and you'll ride behind them.
Rides like pirates, it's a small world, living with the land, etc will allow you to all sit together.

Re: 3 kids and Disney
Thanks for the advice. I had no idea about the ride swap so that's good to know. I will def. bring my carrier but know that I won't be able to carry the baby in it all day.
My plan as of now is to go to the parks early and right after lunch go back to the hotel to let DD's rest and enjoy the pool. Then go back to the parks at night.

Have o e of your strollers be a simple umbrella that you can hook on to the bigger stroller when not in use. Plus you can leave them in stroller parking if there are a bunch of rides in one section that you would like to to.

Does anyone know if you can rent triple strollers? Or is it only doubles?

You might be able to rent them from an outside agency. But the resort doesn't have triples.
