Cookie Cakes??? Where to get a good one at a chain place?

My son wants one for his birthday today and I don't know where to get one? I know Mrs. Fields has them, but they're so expensive!!! Chat Icon Any suggestions???

(This is a last minute idea so I apologize, lol!)

I have made them myself. It's really easy.

Get a roll of cookie dough and break it apart and shape it into a circle on a pizza pan and bake!

There's a place near me that has great stuff but since you are in another state it won't help you at all. Check costco or BJs? Maybe try calling local bakeries?

Everbest Bakery in Valley Stream always had them for a reasonable price.

Sorry, I just thought that maybe someone knew of another chain place that tastes good but not as expensive. I didn't word my post correctly. I sometimes forget to mention I'm out of state.

I'd bake it myself. It's SO easy to do. If you can make chocolate chip cookies, you can make this!

Yes, I meant to say does anyone know of other chain places like Mrs Fields. They're in the mall here so I just assumed they would be in NY. Chat Icon I'm sorry!

I agree with the above posters, buy the premade cookie dough and do it at home...much cheaper and tastes great (and you know it's fresh) Chat Icon

that being said I have seen these cookies in grocery store bakery sections.

David's Cookies makes a chocolate chip cookie cake/pie that is delish!!! We bought it from Costco for like $15. It's not big (same size as the cheesecakes), but it's like a 3" thick cookie. SO YUMMY!

you can usually get them in supermarkets but I also agree making your own will probably taste better. Buy the tub of cookie dough and press it down into any pan and bake ! Tastes good with ice cream too

We usually get ours from our supermarket. They are about $10 and taste pretty good.
