Vent about Oil company
Slomins has to have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced
NASTY
and they just don't care
I received a phone call yesterday saying that when the guy came yesterday to fill my tank, he noticed my Vent Something or other (the thing that shows them how much oil I have) isn't working right and needs to be replaced. I said OK, when can they come. He says, I don't know you have to call tomorrow to find out. OK
I just call... They can come today. NO time frame to give me. It can be up to 8 pm tonight. SO I'm supposed to stay home from NOW until 8PM? REALLY? YUP!!
I was just told if I don't have them come & fix the problem, then they cant deliver oil and my tank dries up, it will cost $219 ++ to fix it
NASTY NASTY NASTY.
SO after arguing with this PERSON I throw out a few dates that work for me and my work schedule and she keeps giving me the days I CAN'T DO. Finally agree on Monday the 30th and I say can it be fore 12? No thats for emergencies only. They see all emergencies before 12 I had one last week, I was seen at 7:30pm.
Back and forth some more and her supervisor allows them to come before 12 on monday the 30th. THANK YOU!!!
I am so annoyed right now. I want to cancel the contract so bad. Have to convince DH to do it. I can't deal with people like this. I'm paying for you a service

Solomins service is really bad. Before I moved in a valve broke and I had water flowing into my basement. Thank god our contractor knew how to ut everything off bc logins took 8 hours to show up bc they said its not an emergency

I won't go back to Slomins. I find Meenan to be really good with customer service.

I just had a similar vent alarm issue with Petro. They tried to deliver and was only able to deliver 5 gallons and had to stop.
They left me a note saying the same thing but they said they could fix this from the outside. I didn't need to be home.
They fixed it and came back a week later to deliver the rest of the oil.

Hmmmmm
They said I had to be home because they had to come inside to fix this. Maybe that complete momo on the phone this morning didn't even know what she was talking about. Ughhhhh This might mean I have to call back and I'm not ready yet 
the reason i even asked if i had to be home was because if they just have to go in the yard to fix it, I wanted to make sure my Rottie wasn't out there when he came. And it wound up spiraling into complete chaos.

I won't go back to Slomins. I find Meenan to be really good with customer service.
We use Meenan and haven't had any CS issues.
