Has anyone seen a cabinet like this?
this is IKEA and so well worth it - and the perfect size that I need! but the finish is only in white or birch.
I was thinking b/c the price is so good, i might get it anyway and have mixmatch or paint/stain to match.

no, i havent seen one but i would prob stain the one at the top. from the photo, the top one looks small, the bottom one looks like 7 feet...i would be scared to hang that big one horizontal since it wasnt made for that, plus youd still see the birch like you said so imo, no point

oooh! that has potential...thank you for finding this. It may be a tiny bit long. I think the wall is 6.5 feet (78 inches)
i'm trying to make it like a counter. So I can use it as storage and put stools under it.

You can stain it-found some directions on ikeafans site-haven't done it myself.
