Has anyone relocated to Charlotte NC?
Besides visiting Charlotte twice and thinking it's a beautiful city I don't know anything else about it. I know a few of you have relocated to NC, do you have any tips on relocation, specifically to the Charlotte area? We'll probably rent a house first and get a feel of the neighborhoods, then buy. I've been told that South Charlotte is more desirable but I have no clue what the schools are like there. We're an interfaith (Jewish and Catholic) couple so we'd like to be in a neighborhood where both of us feel comfortable. I've been told to find something close to Shalom Park? Any advice offered will be appreciated, TIA!

We came from Charlotte,NC. Let me know what information do you need. We were married at Shalom Park. I can tell you where the Jewish people live. My girls went to Charlotte Jewish Day School and Preschool at Shalom Park.

Thanks! I want to live in a jewish neighborhood and I'm not sure where to look. We have to rent first so I'd like to rent where we'll buy but I don't know where to start searching. Any information you can give me on the neighborhoods I should be looking in will be helpful

All or friends live near the Shalom Park like the Lansdowne(Luvabitch),Ballyntyne,Providence Planatation neighborhood. We use to live in Matthews. Weddington or Indian Trail is nice too.

Is there really a town called Luvabitch because I'd really like to live there just to say I live there.

My SIL lives outside of Charlotte in Huntersville (about 20 mins to Charlotte)... it's gorgeous there! It's a developing area but there's tons there already as far as shopping and convenience goes. It's definitely worth checking out.
