LI IVF/ECF...
I was thinking about a consult with them but after reading a bit it seems to be run like RSNY...NP's doing most of the work and not really seeing your RE...is this true? This is the reason I am not too happy with RSNY and I would like to see a doctor that wont just see me as a number.
Does anyone have any experience with this facility and what are your thoughts???

Re: LI IVF/ECF...
For monitoring, you'll see nurses and NPs. All of my procedures were done by doctors, and Dr. Brenner would call me if issues arised or if I had a question the nurse couldn't answer. We met with Dr. Brenner to discuss my cycles before each. I liked LI IVF and the way it was run. It didn't bother me that he didn't do my monitoring.
You can FM me with any questions.

Re: LI IVF/ECF...
I am at LIIVF and have not seen Dr. Brenner since my initial appt. the nurses and NP's do everything, they even did my IUI. I love all of them they were very nice and I didnt feel like a # at all and I never ever had to wait in the waiting room a nurse even did my IUI which is fine by me cause it worked and im almost 6 weeks pregnant.

A NP did your IUI and not a doctor??? Is that normal??? I dont know if I would be comfortable having that procedure done by a NP especially with my cervix issues. Thank you for the information.

Re: LI IVF/ECF...
I should have stated that we went straight to IVF. Someone else mentioned to me that the NPs do IUIs there, but I never had one done.

I dont know if its normal but i know its their process, the same NP did all my monitoring while I was on the injections and both of my back to back IUI's, I was completely comfortable but I also dont have any cervix issues. Let me know if you want any more info

Re: LI IVF/ECF...
At RSofNY, even if you don't see your doctor, you do meet with a doctor at the end of sono to go over things. At LIIVF, you don't even see a doctor at all unless you are doing a procedure, such as ret/ trans for IVF. So to me, LIIVF is going to seem more less than ideal for you.

From my experience I did not always see a doc after my sono's which is my main reason for wanting to switch facilities...I am glad I asked for some advice so I can make a more informed decision...I really appreciate it
