Contractor RAVE - Graziano Construction
It took nearly 9 months from concept to completion, but Graziano Construction did a FANTASTIC job on our house. I highly recommend them if you're in the Sayville/Bayport/Blue Point area (although I think they also do Nassau and other parts of Suffolk, too).
The owner is great, frequently on-site, holds his workers accountable, is responsive, reactive, and reasonable with pricing. Not sure if I'll post more pics, but I'll definitely share pics of the bar they just built:

Want to add the 9 month timeline had very little to do with Graziano's team --
we also had to hire an architect, get the plans approved by the zoning board of appeals (6wks minimum), plus remove and replace the existing foundation before we could even begin working on the actual basement.
