Real Estate Tax Bill
We received our January mortgage statement, and it shows that they paid our Real Estate Tax from our escrow account.
I am 99% sure we were told at closing that we would get a copy of the bill for our records, but we haven't received it so far.
Anyone know who I should contact? We are in Suffolk County. TIA

Re: Real Estate Tax Bill
We got ours a few weeks ago, so you're right--you should probably have it.
I'd call the town directly (Brookhaven, Islip, Huntington--wherever you are located.) They should be able to mail you a copy.

Re: Real Estate Tax Bill
Depending on the Town, you may be able to get a copy online. Suffolk County tax bills went out on or about December 1 - they're due and payable utnil January 10. The Towns usually mail out duplicate statements to homeowners after the 10th.
