NOT IF RELATED, JUST A CUTE STORY
DH went food shopping yesterday while I was at work. I gave him a list and he got everything I needed. I got home and started cooking dinner. I take out a ton of vegetables for a salad ... mushrooms, green peppers, olives, onions, jalapenos, radishes, cucumbers ... Took me like 20 minutes just to chop everything up. I toss it all in the bowl and ask him where the lettuce is. I look in the fridge and take out a huge head of .... cabbage. HAHAHA
Hes so cute.
So, I had a salad sans lettuce for dinner last night. And now I have to figure out how to make cabbage

I actually did what your DH did and bought cabbage by mistake when my DH and I were newly married

my grandma would use gabbage to make a nice shredded salad. she would season it with oil, white vinegar with some salt and pepper
