What would you put on a wall in a LR/DR combo?

What would you put on a wall in a LR/DR combo?
The wall is not one long, continous wall between the two. In fact, it is MORE in the dining room, but can be plainly seen from the LR.
What would you put?
A clock? A mirror?
I don't want to put pictures because I will have plenty of pictures elsewhere in the 2 rooms.

My kitchen and LR share a wall. It has 2 huge windows, between the two windows I put a huge clock. I put more litchen like pics on the kitchen side, and an old pic my grandmother gave me ( its like 70 years old) on the living room side.
