ladies with some wrinkles that still have occasional breakouts / oil
Now that im 30 im finding that although i still get oily skin / breakouts, i also have crows feet etc. I currently wash with all acne medications only. How do you incorporate wrinkle cremes in?

I have the same problem . I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but I wash with anti-acne medicated wash in the evening only, and I use a gentler face wash in the morning. I look for anti-wrinkle creams that don't clog pores, and I'll use anti-acne medicated creams over the anti-wrinkle cream but only in areas that need it.

i have very oily skin, i find that either clinique lotions or prescriptives lotions (purchase online only) work best.

i spot treat.
for example.... personally i have wrinkles and some acne as well as an oily nose and dry patches!! haha
so i use thick eye creams around the orbital area. lots of lip balms and light over all lotions and if i have a dry patch i put a cream just on that area. when i do get a breakout i attack it then.
best thing is NOT over cleansing....not touching or squeezing your face much....and lots of trial and error! gl

I have been using this Murad product and I really love it so far! Acne and Anti-Wrinkle combo
Then again, I don't think I have ever med a Murad product I didn't love.

I was looking at this. I love their mattifying lotion. Does the acne meds actually work, or is it too weak?

Re: ladies with some wrinkles that still have occasional breakouts / oil
I actually stopped washing with anti-acne products a few months ago and started using more gentle face washes (Purpose, Cetaphil. etc.), got some eye creams and moisturizers for the wrinkles, and just use spot-treating products like benzoyl peroxide lotion directly on the broken out areas. My skin is less oily now and the breakouts are still under control - I think I was overdrying my skin with all the acne wash and making it worse. It might be worth a shot!

I definitely think it does. It also makes the whole face much more even and shrinks pores a bit. I don't use it every single day though, probably not more than 3-4 times a week, otherwise my skin gets too dry, however someone with oily skin would and probably should be able to use it every single day. I am just a weirdo with dry skin and acne!

I'm a big fan of the Alpha Hydrox line: Foaming face Wash, Retinol ResQ and the 10% AHA Gel
I also use a stronger glycolic acid creme the nights I don't use retinol, as well as Noxzema's Triple Clean face wash (triclosan) if I start to get any break outs. And I use the Clarisonic or loofah my face to help the cell turnover.
Oh and I use a Neutrogena moisturizer with SPF all the time.
