don't know what to put above our bed
I'm really struggling with what to be over our bed! I don't just want to buy any old thing. I want to it to be a stand out piece. Not even sure what I'm looking for! Our furniture is a light wood and the walls are a cool grayish blue

I had the same problem finding something. I ended up searching and searching until I found a print that I loved, ordered in on canvas & had it framed. I am in love with the way it came out, even two years later.

Just keep looking. I have red walls dark furniture and a yellow sunflower painting. It could be metal work, a family picture, painting. Good luck. Post what you end up choosing.

I have a row of framed pictures at picture rail height. Each picture has a meaning to us. Painting from honeymoon, sketch of a same cat, Eiffel tower (fil from Paris),etc
My goal is to continue it in other areas of the room. Not sure if I want it completely around (I saw a picture of that and it's where I came up with the idea)
Smaller pictures/paintings/prints are less expensive and you can change them out easy.
